About the position
- Responsibilities
- Propose, refine, and implement research-informed strategies to increase affinity for Metro among current and prospective riders.
- Develop and update an annual calendar of campaigns, channels, and results reporting in coordination with direct reports and colleagues.
- Prioritize projects and select appropriate investments of financial resources, staff time, and vendor contracts.
- Serve as direct manager to Metro's Creative Team Lead, Marketing Team Lead, Program/Project Manager, Social Media Specialist, and Translation Coordinator.
- Provide counsel and assistance to other Metro work groups to meet their creative and marketing needs.
- Identify, select, and contract with consultants for Metro communications, marketing, and promotional campaigns.
- Propose and revise budget plans, and track expenses and funding sources.
- Requirements
- Minimum of ten years of experience developing and leading high-profile advertising, communications, and marketing campaigns.
- Minimum of three years of leadership and management experience.
- Effective in-person and written communication skills for interactions with colleagues, customers, and partners.
- Expertise in creating, updating, and tracking detailed communications plans and corresponding budgets.
- Experience in reaching and marketing to diverse, multi-lingual audiences.
- Experience leveraging research to design creative and marketing strategies.
