Atlas Copco is a leading company in engineered solutions, and they are seeking a Commissioning Engineer to provide expert repair services for their centrifugal compressors. The role involves leading the commissioning of compressor packages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining safety standards while working closely with a global customer base. Responsibilities Lead the commissioning of centrifugual compressor packages installed in broad range of chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and liquid natural gas plants around the world at our customers sites Test and configure surge protection systems Ensure the success of compressor to plant integration Communicate with our customers and exercise best safety practices during all commissioning phases Prepare daily project activity and technical reports Represent Atlas Copco to our global customers and build relationships to ensure we remain first in mind, first in choice to our customers Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems Diagnose any issues to prevent equipment downtime Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly Skills You hold a bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering You are looking to be hands on with industrial equipment to demonstrate your mechanical and electrical aptitude You can interpret engineering drawings and comprehend industrial processes You are excited to work with the diverse cultures of our global customers You are willing to travel up to 80% on a domestic and global scale Benefits Generous paid time off (vacation, personal, and sick days) 401(k) with up to a 6% company match Company Overview Atlas Copco manufactures industrial tools and equipment.
