We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Application Developer to join our team at HCLTech, where you'll play a key role in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity. As a Cloud Application Developer, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing your expertise in Confluent Kafka, KSQL, GBQ, ETL, and Cognos.
Job Summary:
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications on GCP, utilizing Confluent Kafka, KSQL, GBQ, ETL, and Cognos
- Configure and optimize Confluent Kafka connectors and topics, and debug errors in a timely manner
- Implement cloud/hybrid deployments, optimizing and tuning integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Ensure security and data protection, and integrate data storage solutions (SQL databases, MongoDB)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications on GCP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Design and implement data pipelines using GBQ, ETL, and Cognos
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, data protection, and cloud deployments
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Confluent Kafka or Apache Kafka
- 5+ years of experience with data integrations and cloud-based deployments
- Strong knowledge of Node.js, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitLab
- Basic GCP Cloud knowledge, including App Engine, Cloud Run, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, and Firestore
