We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinic Technician, Dialysis to join our team at Henry Ford Health System in Macomb, MI. As a Clinic Technician, Dialysis, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our interdisciplinary team in delivering exceptional dialysis services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients on an ongoing basis and communicate information to the appropriate team member
- Provide direct care to patients on hemodialysis under the supervision of nursing staff
- Respond to emergency situations and reinforce patient education
- Document patient care and observations, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other departments, agencies, or service organizations to ensure seamless patient care
- Demonstrate technical and task-oriented skills, including cannulation, machine setups, and disinfection
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician and under nursing supervision

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Science preferred
- Certification as a dialysis technician must be obtained within designated timelines and maintained in accordance with federal regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
