About the position
The Client Financial Services Representative plays a crucial role in managing insurance, client accounts, and receivables. This remote position requires expertise in insurance coding and billing practices, as well as a solid understanding of medical and insurance terminology. The representative will be responsible for following up on claims, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines, and improving processes related to insurance inquiries.
Responsibilities
Ā Follow up with insurance payers on unpaid or denied claims

Ā Utilize insurance websites, provider portals, send secure messages, and make phone calls
,
Ā Review and follow up on all insurance inquiries and correspondence
,
Ā Resolve issues and resubmit or appeal claims with confidence
,
Ā Run and analyze reports
,
Ā Assure coding compliance with billing and coding guidelines and contract terms
,
Ā Identify and resolve trends in aging, document procedures, and streamline processes
Requirements
Ā Experience with insurance coding/billing practices
,
Ā Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
,
Ā Familiarity with EFTs and EOBs
,
Ā Basic understanding of medical and insurance terminology
