About the position
- Responsibilities
- Convey thoughts and intentions accurately into Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Maintain cultural competence and ensure messages are received as intended.
- Provide on-site and remote interpreting services.
- Communicate professionally during interpreting sessions.
- Maintain confidentiality as required by HIPAA.
- Requirements
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Excellent listening, speaking, and retention skills.
- Experience using medical terminology.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations.
- Flexibility to work during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
- Willingness to obtain medical clearances (TB, MMR, Varicella proof of immunity, and Covid-19 vaccination).
