About the position Responsibilities β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders to design, launch, and refine the first college-wide internship program for CASE undergraduate students. β€’ In consultation with faculty, Career Services staff, and external partners, create the infrastructure for program administration, including forms, agreements, student/faculty handbooks, and process manuals. β€’ In consultation with faculty, establish guidelines and procedures to ensure consistency, quality, and equity across all CASE departments. β€’ Collaborate with college leadership to set program goals, policies, and assessment measures. β€’ Develop a sustainable model for ongoing program growth, expansion, and employer engagement. β€’ Facilitate student learning by assisting them in securing appropriate internship opportunities. β€’ Communicate with faculty to coordinate student guidance, support, and evaluation. β€’ Meet with students prior to their internships to review responsibilities, documentation, and expectations. β€’ Maintain clear and timely communication with interns and site supervisors, including: Sending and tracking evaluations Scheduling internship meetings and workshops β€’ Conduct internship meetings with current and prospective interns. β€’ Ensure all required internship documentation is complete and accurate before submission to faculty. β€’ In consultation with faculty and Career Services staff, recruit and cultivate new internship opportunities across diverse disciplines within the college. β€’ Initiate and build partnerships with employers, nonprofits, cultural institutions, and community organizations locally, regionally, and nationally. β€’ Evaluate and approve new internship sites to ensure quality supervision and training for students. β€’ Review internship requirements with site supervisors and provide training on evaluation expectations. β€’ Maintain and manage affiliation agreements in coordination with the College's administrative staff. β€’ Conduct site visits to promote students, evaluate placements, and strengthen employer partnerships. β€’ Create and maintain an internship process manual and student handbook for CASE internships. β€’ Collaborate with faculty and administration to ensure academic quality and consistency of internship experiences. β€’ Develop and maintain a centralized database of approved internship sites. β€’ Coordinate program materials, forms, and internship communications through online platforms (e.g., Canvas, university website, marketing channels). β€’ Collect and analyze data related to student participation, site development, and program outcomes; prepare regular reports to inform decision-making. β€’ Provide internship updates during faculty meetings and advisory board discussions to ensure alignment with college goals. β€’ Collaborate with Career Services staff to plan and host special events, receptions, and networking opportunities related to internships and career readiness. β€’ Connect students with post-internship employment opportunities when available. β€’ Perform other duties as assigned in support of student success and employer engagement. Requirements β€’ Bachelors degree β€’ Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience directly related to the job responsibilities. β€’ Experience building and sustaining partnerships with community organizations or employers. β€’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
