Job Description
PrideStaff is looking for a CAD Drafting Technician for a client located in Arvada.
This is a temp to hire opportunity based on client need and employee performance.
CAD Drafting Technician Duties:
Produce CAD drawings for design, sheet metal manufacturing, floorplans, riser diagrams, and details that vary in size and scope
Receive design documentation and produce submittal drawings
Recreate designs to fit into standard size
Use FA experience to help develop prefabrication solutions
Create point to point wiring details
Maintain and track project drawing files, associated records and documentation
Review own drawings and co-workers drawings for quality and accuracy
CAD Drafting Technician Requirements:
Extensive working knowledge of AutoCAD software and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
Experience using AutoCAD to create detailed electronic working plans, charts, and scale drawings for the manufacturing industry
Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawings
Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards
Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate
Communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with other professionals
Experience working as part of a team, taking direction from supervisors and following instructions from customers
