About Us:
From Your Father is a Christ-centered nonprofit serving fatherless children and single mothers across Middle Tennessee. We provide monthly Love Boxes filled with essentials like food, diapers, and hygiene items — and we’re preparing to open The House, a permanent space of nourishment, stability, and dignity for women and children in need.
We’re inviting a mission-minded financial professional to join our Board of Directors and help steward this work with excellence.
About the Role:
This is a volunteer board position. We're seeking someone to support our financial strategy, provide light bookkeeping oversight, and ensure clean and accurate financial reporting as our organization grows.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile monthly income and expenses (QuickBooks Online)
- Offer financial insight during board meetings and strategic planning
- Provide guidance as we strengthen systems for long-term sustainability
- Attend one monthly board meeting (1 hour required)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or nonprofit financial strategy
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or willingness to learn
- CPA is a plus
- Alignment with Christian values and a heart for service
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Please note: This is a volunteer board position with a small stipend ($70 monthly and can increase overtime). It is not a paid staff role.
