About the position
- Responsibilities
- Assists with administration of 401(k) U.S. Defined Contribution plans, Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Plans, and legacy U.S. Defined Benefit Pension Plans, including service provider management, government filings, plan audits, and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
- Ensures quality controls on payroll runs, interface files, benefit invoices, and accruals.
- Interacts with employees throughout the organization, including senior management, in identifying, analyzing, and resolving retirement plan issues and questions.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of program policies and procedures.
- Acts as company liaison with retirement plan administrator, trustees, and actuarial service providers.
- Coordinates with internal team and service providers to research, analyze, and resolve issues related to retirement plan benefits.
- Maintains benefits records and documents, and assists with weekly wires and monthly reconciliations.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree plus at least 4 years of experience in Retirement Plan Administration, Consulting or Human Resources, with emphasis in retirement plans, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Knowledge of retirement plans administration & compliance (e.g. ERISA, DOL, IRS, SEC rules & regulations).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with both defined contribution savings and defined benefit pension plans.
- Experience working with HRIS/Payroll/Benefit systems, Workday, ADP, and ORACLE experience is preferred.
