About the position
- Responsibilities
- Build sub-assemblies and assemblies to customer specifications
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during assembly
- Use heavy industrial equipment including cranes and welding equipment
- Conduct visual inspections of materials before and after assembly
- Utilize fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools for assembly and repairs
- Inspect completed assemblies for compliance with quality standards
- Make necessary adjustments to meet quality goals
- Adhere to company environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Provide process and safety improvement ideas
- Ensure proper calibration of machines and tools
- Perform housekeeping duties using 5S+ principles
- Complete other assigned duties as necessary
- Requirements
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship
- Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures in a manufacturing facility
- Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures, wiring diagrams, and bills of material
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting
- Basic working knowledge and experience with computers

- Experience in production, packaging, or construction
- Previous experience with standard operating procedures
- Previous experience with product electrical assembly, maintenance, and/or repair
