The Rep 2, Customer Care will be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week. Compensation: β€’ The pay for this position is $18.00 per hour β€’ Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment β€’ A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Highlights: β€’ This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs β€’ The required availability for this position is 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with overtime throughout the month and up to 2 Saturdays per month Responsibilities: β€’ Verify and document new patient insurance coverage and coordinate supply costs to communicate to patients and billing β€’ Re-verify existing patient insurance coverage to ensure repeat order cost and eligibility is communicated β€’ Contact insurance carriers to request prior authorizations as needed β€’ Verify insurance coverage via HIPAA-compliant outbound phone calls or provider online portals β€’ Communicate with internal Sales Operations and Medical Billing teams regarding insurance eligibility β€’ Communicate with patients to explain insurance benefits and how they relate to medical supply purchases β€’ Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and insurance guidelines β€’ Track daily production and submit logs to supervisor Requirements: β€’ Minimum 1 year of medical industry OR call center/customer service experience (insurance verification strongly preferred) β€’ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical supply publications, procedures, and training materials β€’ Strong communication and customer service skills β€’ Ability to meet production and quality standards: 1 completed insurance verification every 9–11 minutes on average with an error rate of 3.5% or less Education: β€’ Required: High School Diploma or GED (one to two years of related experience and/or training preferred) If you are interested in this position, please apply directly to this job posting, text Jenise Nottage at 586-473-6098 586-473-6098 or email resume to [email protected] .
