Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Expert with at least five years of experience to develop a fully customized WordPress website. The candidate must be proficient in creating custom themes from Figma designs, developing custom plugins, and integrating various third-party APIs. This is a remote position that requires a proactive, detail-oriented developer with a strong understanding of WordPress architecture and API integrations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a fully custom WordPress theme based on Figma designs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Create and manage custom WordPress plugins to meet specific business needs.
- Integrate the website with WhatsApp API, Calendly, Google Calendar, ManyChat, Follow Up Boss, and other chatbot solutions.
- Develop chatbots that utilize Google Drive data for automated responses and user interactions.
- Implement daily data uploads from Google Drive Sheets, including images, PDFs (converted to images), and other files.
- Maintain and manage historical data records, including stock market-like data visualization and updates.
- Optimize the website for performance, SEO, and security best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any website-related issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compatibility with modern browsers, mobile devices, and accessibility standards.
- Work collaboratively with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Requirements:
- Proven experience of 5+ years in WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
- Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and webhooks.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs such as WhatsApp, Calendly, Google Calendar, and chatbot solutions.
- Familiarity with Google Drive and Google Sheets API for data management.
- Understanding of database management and handling large sets of data, similar to stock market updates.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques, security best practices, and SEO-friendly development.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI-powered chatbots and automation tools.
- Knowledge of stock market data visualization techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud storage solutions and data processing automation.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
