About the position
- Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and technical assistance to the Nurse Aide training program.
- Approve training curriculum for nurse assistants.
- Determine applicant eligibility for examinations.
- Complete on-site reviews of training programs.
- Collaborate with health occupations teacher educators and other bureaus.
- Assist with reports and state or federal plans.
- Participate in professional development activities.
- Ensure compliance with set regulations for career and technical education.
- Requirements
- Four years of professional career and technical education experience in health occupations, including one year of experience developing and implementing specialized curricula or programs.
- An equivalent combination of professional experience and training in career and technical education, including one year of experience developing and implementing specialized curricula or programs.
- A minimum of two years of full-time professional career and technical education health occupations experience in a 9-12 or postsecondary environment.
