Job Title: Supply Sourcing Specialist (Alibaba/China) for Airbnb Suites
Job Description
I am looking for a reliable Supply Sourcing Specialist to help me find and coordinate purchases from Alibaba (and other China-based suppliers if needed) for my Airbnb suites. The role will involve identifying trustworthy suppliers, gathering quotes, negotiating where possible, and coordinating logistics/shipping recommendations.
This role will be 10–20 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
- Research and source products on Alibaba and similar platforms.
- Compare suppliers based on reliability, pricing, and product quality.
- Obtain multiple quotes, create comparison spreadsheets, and present the best options.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers when possible.
- Ensure suppliers meet quality, shipping, and reliability standards.
- Communicate with me regularly to update on progress and recommendations.

- Home-use saunas
- Outdoor gazebo or pergola
- Roof awning for a garage suite
- Dome structures
Requirements
- Proven experience with Alibaba sourcing and working with China-based suppliers.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to evaluate supplier reliability (trade assurance, reviews, certifications, etc.).
- Organized and detail-oriented with good spreadsheet/reporting skills.
- Experience with product shipping/logistics coordination is a plus.
- Fluent in English (Mandarin proficiency is a bonus).
Time Commitment & Compensation
- 10–20 hours per week.
- Flexible working hours, but responsiveness is key.
