About the position
- Responsibilities
- Improve the core product experience for sellers by enhancing tools and services for business growth.
- Build competitive and cost-effective strategies for seller products that cater to international customers.
- Determine customer needs through direct interactions, qualitative research, and statistical analysis.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to launch, optimize, and innovate on seller tools.
- Define and own the product vision and strategy, measuring and achieving ambitious goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on small business hobby and collectible sellers' practices.
- Document product definitions, including value propositions and use cases.
- Communicate goals and guide the delivery of product solutions, including roadmaps and go-to-market plans.
- Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, particularly in small business products and services.
- Deep experience with SaaS products in ecommerce and online marketplace contexts.
- Strong understanding of customer onboarding and retention strategies in an international SMB market.
- Ability to engage in technical discussions with design, engineering, and operations teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for articulating complex concepts.
- Ability to mentor and guide cross-functional teams without supervisory responsibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative.
