About the position
- Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated and static reports using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Develop and manage data pipelines for data extraction, cleansing, and transformation.
- Create business-critical dashboards using Power BI Desktop Service.
- Design and implement efficient end-to-end data migration pipelines using Azure Data Factory or similar tools.
- Perform complex SQL query building and optimizations for data manipulation and integrity.
- Develop complex stored procedures, user-defined functions, DML triggers, views, and indexes.
- Conduct data analysis for OLTP and OLAP environments, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to design and develop complex data engineering projects.
- Requirements
- Experience in building and maintaining automated and static reports using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence applications.
- Expertise in predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL query building and optimizations.
- Experience in creating complex stored procedures and user-defined functions.
- Proficiency in developing data pipelines and data migration processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data engineering, data science, data analytics, or a related field.
- Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Azure Functions as webhooks to consume data from APIs.
- Familiarity with performance tuning in MS SQL and SSRS/SSIS.
- Knowledge of DAX queries and data visualization techniques in Power BI.

- Competitive salary range of $100,000 - $140,000 annually plus benefits.
- Hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
