- Square is a partner to sellers of all sizes, and the Globalization team helps to bring Square products and services to the world. The company is looking for a Localization Quality Program Manager to join their team in Japan or the US West Coast.Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the localization industry
- Native proficiency in Japanese, with the ability to understand it as spoken in Japan
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
- Deep understanding of the Japanese market, its cultural dimensions, and linguistic norms
- Ability to describe linguistic challenges, cultural questions and concepts to internal stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail, flexibility and ability to excel on a fast-paced multicultural team
- Experience working with Phrase (formerly Memsource) or comparable TMS, machine translation engines and/or other localization technologies
- Experience leading or managing localization quality assurance processes for the Japanese market Benefits
