About the position
- Responsibilities
- Manage the E-Learning Team responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating digital training.
- Oversee planning, coordination, and organization of training processes, including departmental web sites and accessibility of e-learning products.
- Manage multiple e-learning projects using effective project management methodologies and tools.
- Oversee the development of complex documents such as training curricula, proposals, and training plans.
- Screen, interview, and hire qualified staff for the E-Learning Team.
- Conduct performance appraisals and recommend personnel actions.
- Represent the agency at conferences and meetings.
- Conduct training and presentations as needed.
- Oversee department operations in the absence of the director.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Requirements
- Three years of full-time experience in policy development or implementation in a public or private agency, with six months in an administrative management or supervisory role.
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications.
- Nice-to-haves
- Successful e-learning and training project management experience.
- History of management in a dedicated training and development team.
- Excellent writing skills and knowledge of accessibility best practices.
- Experience developing e-learning curricula for adult audiences.
- Experience in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow policies while multitasking.
- Dependable team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
