Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Time & Attendance Manager to join our team at Walt Disney World Resorts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of hourly Time and Attendance Cast Members, ensuring accurate time and attendance tracking for over 65,000 hourly cast members.
This is a full-time, remote position with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of hourly Time and Attendance Cast Members to ensure accurate time and attendance tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new policies and procedures to improve time and attendance processes
- Provide expertise on time, pay, and attendance policies to key stakeholders
- Participate in projects to improve the accuracy and efficiency of time and attendance tracking
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement solutions to achieve daily objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a large organization
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, including payroll, work relations, and employee relations
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with time and attendance systems, such as MY TIME (Infor, Workbrain)
- Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and Disney's employee policies
- Experience with project management and process improvement
