Job Description
Forbes is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research & Project Support Specialist to join our team and contribute to the creation of our prestigious Forbes Lists, focusing on accounting and finance. This is a remote position based in the United States, offering a hybrid work schedule to support employee success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research using various sources, including databases, analytics, and industry reports.
- Manage and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases to organize and analyze data.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, with a strong commitment to deadlines and organizational skills.
- Proactively reach out to and gather information from nominated CPAs.
- Apply knowledge of analytics, research methods, and statistical analysis to support list development.
- Contribute to project planning and execution.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proven experience with spreadsheets and database management.
- Strong research skills and experience with analytical methods.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge and experience in the accounting field is a plus.
- Journalism experience is a plus.
Compensation:
