We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Administrative Coordinator to join our team in a remote capacity, based in MN or WI. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical administrative functions, providing exceptional support to our patients, and contributing to the advancement of health equity on a global scale.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Review and ensure accuracy of electronic chart documentation, including patient information, location, and duplicate records

  • Process release of information (ROI) requests and manage documentation and information requests

  • Scan and edit documents in the electronic medical record, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to regulatory requirements

  • Locate, log, retrieve, file, and deliver medical records stored in various mediums and systems, promoting principles of health information accuracy and transparency

  • Analyze documentation and track completion to meet regulatory requirements, working collaboratively with the team to achieve goals

  • Utilize Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to create, edit, and manage documents and spreadsheets

  • Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with patients, staff, and external stakeholders

Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience

  • 1+ years of customer service experience within a hospital or healthcare environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to travel to our office location in Minneapolis, MN for training and occasional meetings

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting

  • Experience working with electronic medical records and health information systems

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and federal and state programs that impact healthcare coverage

  • RHIT or RHIA certification, or willingness to obtain

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, or other languages


Telecommuting Requirements:



  • Reside within commutable distance from our office location in Minneapolis, MN

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of company-sensitive documents

  • Dedicated work area established, with high-speed internet connection and information privacy
