As a remote tutor, you will play a vital role in providing instructional support to students in need, helping them develop essential skills to succeed in elementary grades and beyond.
About the Role:
- Provide personalized instruction to students in reading curriculum, focusing on developing skills necessary for success in elementary grades and preparation for secondary education.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to identify student needs and develop targeted strategies for improvement.
- Implement evidence-based programs, such as Read 180 or Alphie's Alley, to support student learning.
- Analyze data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions to drive student growth.
- Participate in building and district curriculum meetings, staying up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in reading and English curriculum.
Requirements:
- Title I certification or ability to obtain.
- Strong knowledge of pedagogy, content, and student needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in technology, including computers and educational software.
Work Environment:
