Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the onboarding and enablement of cloud-based tools and solutions, covering design, development, and implementation
- Develop and propose cloud architecture solutions that align with industry best practices and meet business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of cloud-based initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and make recommendations for adoption
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, preferably in a senior or lead role
- 5+ years of experience working with public cloud environments, GCP (required), Azure, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and identity and access management (IAM) best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide innovative cloud-based solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Cloud Partner or Professional Certification
- Knowledge of security best practices in Google Cloud, including secure configuration practices
- Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing
- Ability to create clear and concise architecture diagrams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred
