We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Analyst - Marketing to join our U.S. Consumer Services Group at American Express. As a Sr. Analyst - Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to activate and engage our Card Members. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, onboarding, loyalty, growth, and retention groups, to identify and promote client marketing strategies that align with product objectives.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Act as an informed authority for client marketing, collaborating with product teams to provide marketing partners with the latest client insights, positioning, messaging, and benefit claims/T&Cs.

  • Own Valuable Card activation marketing strategies and end-to-end execution of activation communications to drive Card Member engagement.

  • Identify and report key opportunities to improve the end-to-end client experience for Valuable Card Members.

  • Own reporting of marketing performance, post-launch analysis, and a monthly portfolio performance scorecard, publishing insights to product and marketing partners.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree

  • Solid and effective communicator with experience obtaining agreement across teams

  • Team-oriented and agile in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently

  • Client-first mindset with the ability to put yourself in the shoes of the client and develop a communication strategy based on what is best for them

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage a large amount of data
