Job Description:
As a Remote Manager, Design Services, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a team of virtual design sales experts to meet or exceed sales, customer satisfaction, and revenue targets
- Providing guidance and expertise on interior design processes, including evaluating mood boards, customizations, and provider communications
- Driving process improvements, tooling, and construction to enable designers to succeed
- Responding to customer requests, inquiries, or complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to address employee issues and drive business results
- Establishing new workflows, testing new software, and building scalable processes
- Building strong relationships with providers and cross-functional partners
- Representing Wayfair with a positive and professional attitude at all times
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or a related field
- 3+ years of sales experience (preferably in a design-related environment)
- 3+ years of management experience
- Experience with Salesforce and design tools (AutoCad/Revit/other)
- Ability to manage and motivate a virtual distributed team
- Passion for exceptional customer service and drive to exceed sales targets
- Strong organizational, self-motivation, communication, and relationship management skills
- History of thriving in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Proven ability to learn new software programs quickly
