We are seeking a passionate and experienced Career & Technical Education (CTE) Teacher to join our team at Missouri Virtual Academy (MOVA), a Stride K12 partner school. As a CTE Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, personalized education to students in an online environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students
- Differentiate instruction based on student level of mastery and personalize learning for all students
- Maintain grade book, ensure student academic integrity, and make student placement and promotion decisions
- Communicate regularly with students, learning coaches, and parents to ensure student success
- Collaborate with the school and national professional learning community to develop effective instructional tools and strategies
- Support learning coaches/parents with student curricular and instructional issues and basic troubleshooting in a virtual classroom environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and active CTE state teaching certification
- Relevant industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to clear required background check(s)
- Residency in Missouri preferred, but will consider residents of Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Arkansas
- Ability to obtain a Missouri teaching license and attend in-person events as planned
