Virtual DHH Teacher (Part-Time & Per Diem)
Remote | Serving California Schools | 20252026 School Year
VocoVision is currently hiring qualified Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide remote educational support to students in California school districts. Opportunities are available for both part-time and per diem positions for the 20252026 academic year.
- Position Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual instruction and academic support to DHH students
- Collaborate with school teams and general education teachers to ensure student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, offer expert consultation, and assist with DHH tools and resources
- Qualifications:
- Valid California Educator Credential (CTC)
- Masters degree in Deaf Education
- Experience teaching in a virtual environment
- Active professional liability insurance (required for 1099 roles)
Position Details:
- Part-Time Role
- Start Date: August 13, 2025
- Caseload: 2 students
- Hours: 510 per week
- Per Diem Role
- Start Date: August 1, 2025
- Caseload: 1 student
- Hours: 23 per month
Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
