Middle School Science Teacher Opening – 2025–2026 School Year | Zion, IL
Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to support students in a school district located in Zion, IL.
- Position Details:
- Full-time, onsite role
- Classroom-based instruction focused on general science curriculum for grades 6–8
- Caseload information will be provided during the district interview
- Requirements:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Endorsement in Middle Grades Science or Secondary Science
- Must meet all Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and local district credentialing requirements
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting per district policy
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience teaching middle school science
- Familiarity with NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards)
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to differentiate instruction
- Proficiency with science lab safety, hands-on learning, and digital learning tools
