Job Details:
Β Tailored Instructional Design: Develop and implement personalized instructional plans and materials for visually impaired students.
Β Individual and Group Teaching: Offer direct teaching and support to visually impaired students, both one-on-one and in small groups.
Β Ongoing Assessment: Monitor student progress and modify instructional approaches to meet their changing needs.
Β Collaborative Support: Partner with classroom teachers, parents, and educational professionals to provide well-rounded support for students.
Β Technology and Adaptation: Recommend and integrate assistive technologies and adaptive strategies to optimize learning experiences.
Qualifications:
Β Valid Certification/Licensure: Must hold a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification or licensure in Minnesota.
Β Preferred Experience: Experience working with visually impaired students is highly preferred.
Β Specialized Skills: Proficiency in instructional strategies and assistive technologies for visually impaired students.
Β Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff.
Β Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
