Job Description
Colonial Country Club is looking for motivated and hardworking individuals to join our Event Support Crew for the Charles Schwab Challenge PGA Tournament. This temporary position (May 1 - May 27) is crucial in ensuring a seamless event experience by assisting with setup, on-site operations, and teardown.
Responsibilities:
Ā Assist with setup of event infrastructure, including tents, tables, chairs, signage, and equipment.
Ā Support vendors, tournament staff, and sponsors with logistics and operational needs.
Ā Maintain cleanliness and organization in key areas such as hospitality zones, spectator areas, and vendor spaces.
Ā Help with inventory management, restocking supplies, and general event maintenance.
Ā Provide assistance to guests by answering questions and offering directions.
Ā Assist with post-event teardown, including dismantling structures and ensuring proper storage of equipment.
Ā Perform other duties as needed to contribute to the success of the event.
Requirements:
Ā Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
Ā Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ā Strong teamwork skills with a positive and proactive attitude.
Ā Flexible availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends during the tournament.
Ā Prior experience in event setup, hospitality, or maintenance is a plus but not required.
Background check and drug screen required.
