Personal Banker 1 Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker 1 to join our team. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for providing exceptional banking services to our customers while promoting sales and service strategies.
Successfully complete on-going training programs, including Personal Banker 1 and Teller 1 training.
Perform various teller transactions, open deposit accounts, input consumer loan applications, and navigate the loan process.
Support sales and service strategies that build relationships and promote needs-based selling.
Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain confidentiality of customer information and activities.
Promote and achieve accuracy and quality in branch work.
Recognize and act on opportunities to achieve assigned sales and service goals.
Become proficient with job-related systems and equipment.
Participate in the general upkeep and appearance of the Branch.
Participate in available training opportunities.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum one year retail banking experience in sales and customer service.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Basic math aptitude and proficiency.
Knowledge of bank accounting principles.
Ability to learn and utilize new technologies.
Knowledge of general banking products and services.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year work experience at First National Bank and Trust preferred.
