About the position
HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a Registered Nurse RN Recovery Room/PACU PRN to join their team. This role involves caring for and managing surgical patients in the post-anesthesia period, applying nursing processes, critical thinking, and leadership skills to deliver safe nursing care. - Responsibilities
- Care for and manage the surgical patient in the post-anesthesia period. ,
- Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care. ,
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes. ,
- Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism in unit and organizational activities. ,
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team. ,
- Accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.
- Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required; BSN is preferred. ,
- 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Recovery Room/PACU setting is required. ,
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License. ,
- Current BLS Certification is required.
