VocoVision is hiring a remote School Psychologist to provide teletherapy services to students in Alaska. This role offers the flexibility to work from home while making a meaningful impact on students' mental health and academic success. Job Details:
ย Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
ย Work Environment: Fully Remote (Serve Students in Alaska)
ย Caseload: PreK-12 (Determined by Experience & District Needs)
ย Start Date: Immediate openings available
ย Schedule: Flexible hours (Full-Time or Part-Time)
ย Compensation: $45-50/hr based on experience
Responsibilities:
ย Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs.
ย Develop and implement intervention plans to address emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.
ย Provide individual and group counseling via a secure virtual platform.
ย Support students with anxiety, behavioral issues, learning disabilities, and emotional disorders.
ย Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create a positive learning environment.
ย Participate in IEP meetings, goal-setting discussions, and crisis intervention planning.
ย Utilize research-based methodologies to improve student success in school.
ย Document progress notes, reports, and recommendations in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
ย Masterยs or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
ย Alaska Type C Special Services Certificate required.
ย At least two years of experience working as a school psychologist preferred.
ย Comfortable using teletherapy platforms (training provided).
ย Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
ย Ability to work independently while collaborating with school teams remotely.
ย Reliable high-speed internet and up-to-date technology for online services.
