Job Description
FUND ACCOUNTING EXPERT || FULL TIME JOB || REMOTE
*Responsibilities:**
Oversee the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of alternative investment funds, including private equity, hedge funds, and real estate funds.
Prepare and review financial statements, investor reports, and other regulatory filings in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards.
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Analyze fund performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and control.
Assist in the valuation of fund assets and the calculation of net asset value (NAV).
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in alternative investment fund accounting.
*Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CFA designation preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in fund accounting, with a focus on alternative investments.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
