Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking a Mortgage Lending Sales Manager to join the team in the Louisville area. Significant mortgage loan origination and proven leadership/managerial skills are required. This could be a producing or non-producing manager role depending on experience and situation. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Ā Responsible for supporting the RVP of Mortgage Sales to effectively support and grow mortgage volume in the area.
Ā Recruit and assist in the hiring process to continue to build our team.
Ā Implement, manage and track goals for the individuals in the sales team.
Ā Mentor, monitor and coach sales staff to build referral network and meet sales goals.
Ā Provide guidance to sales staff regarding goals, service, procedures, and products.
Ā Work with the RVP of Mortgage Sales to forecast monthly/annual production volumes and goals. Develop, recommend for approval, and implement strategy for achieving production goals.
Ā Provide assistance in resolving member problems and concerns.
Ā Facilitate credit union employee mortgage loans.
Ā Continually build new business and member relations by representing and promoting the credit union at external functions while maintaining a positive and professional image.
Ā Conduct research, analyze, and make recommendations for product enhancements and new mortgage programs.
Ā Keep the RVP of Mortgage Sales informed of mortgage origination activities, needs, and issues. Prepare and submit applicable loan reports.
Ā Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports.
Ā Provide exceptional member service.
Qualifications:
Ā Minimum 5 years of previous mortgage loan origination experience.
Ā Minimum 3 years in a leadership or managerial role leading a sales team.
Ā NMLS licensing and continuing education is required.
Ā Working knowledge of conventional and government loan programs.
Ā Experience with CRM and LOS system preferred.
Ā Excellent time management skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
Ā Utilize automated UW systems, LOS system, email and other technologies to issue point of sales approvals, lock-ins, and for customer service and follow up purposes.
Ā Must adhere to all company procedures, policies and state/federal laws.
Ā Must be able to achieve all aspects of job performance while adhering to the company Mission, Vision and Values.
Ā Must have the ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
