Job Description
First-Aid Counseling is a new practice, established March 2023. The practice is rapidly growing and seeking a part-time Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC, LCMHCA or LCSW, LCSWA). This will be contract work, all remote. For more information please visit: https://www.first-aidcounseling.com/
Required hours will be anywhere from 10-20 hours per week, choose your own schedule. Afternoon and evening hours preferred.
Comfortable working with young teenagers.
Contract rate will be a 40/60 split of contractual insurance rates which average $40-$60 per hour. Pay will be 30 day net.
Ideal candidate must be fully licensed and preferably credentialed with Medicaid, BCBS, and other major insurances.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify trauma-related symptoms and their impact on clients' lives.
Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based trauma therapies and modalities.
Foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel comfortable exploring and processing their traumatic experiences.
Collaborate with other members of the integrative therapy team to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.
Regularly evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in trauma treatment and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications:
Master's Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
Licensed as a mental health professional in the state of North Carolina.
Ability to establish a strong therapeutic alliance and create a safe space for clients to explore their trauma experiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, compassion, and dedication to supporting clients' healing journeys.
Adherence to ethical guidelines and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
Willingness to work collaboratively.
Willingness to work with youth.
Willingness to work afternoon and evening hours.
