In this role, you will help preschool students with disabilities achieve their educational goals in a virtual environment, using evidence-based strategies and interventions to support their academic, social, and emotional development. Responsibilities:
Β Provide virtual instruction to preschool students with special needs, focusing on individualized academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
Β Regularly assess studentsΒ progress and adjust instruction and interventions as needed to meet goals outlined in IEPs.
Β Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and caregivers to discuss student progress, behavior, and any additional support needed.
Β Foster a positive and inclusive online classroom environment that supports student engagement and participation.
Β Provide ongoing feedback and support to students to help them develop independence and self-confidence in their learning.
Qualifications:
Β Valid Ohio Special Education licensure with endorsement to teach Pre-K or Early Childhood Education.
Β Experience working with young children with disabilities, including autism, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges.
Β Knowledge of virtual teaching platforms, educational technology, and remote teaching strategies.
Β Comfortable using technology to conduct virtual lessons and assessments.
