Description:
This role will play a key role in helping the Command Center Software business manage R&D expenses and investments
The analyst will partner extensively with our Engineering and Product leaders to help quantify our product roadmap
The analyst will serve as subject matter expert to planning and tracking our employee expenses, other Operating Expenses (OpEx) and Capital Expenses (CapEx)
Primary areas of focus will include employee hiring and expense tracking, R&D planning, product roadmap quantification (in partnership with our business partners and other Finance teams) and business case facilitation.
The ideal candidate will have experience with headcount and other opex planning, preferably supporting Engineering and Product teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
1+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a FP&A role
FP&A experience in a corporate environment
Successful track record working with business partners (i.e. engineering or product teams) to solve problems
Experience planning headcount, expense, capital planning and tracking
Able to work independently and comfortable leading meetings as the finance representative
Ability to translate key business drivers to financial outcomes through analysis and communicate business insights from financial metrics and operational data
Strong analytical skills, organization, and curiosity to develop new methods and processes
Proven record of successful collaboration with teams outside of Finance
Expert in Excel and Google Sheets
Experience with Smartview and Tableau a plus
