Hourly Pay: Starting at $32/hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our growing team in Monroe, North Carolina. This full-time, in-person opportunity provides a chance to work with students who need specialized support to succeed in the classroom.
As a Special Education Teacher, you will design and implement individualized educational plans, collaborate with colleagues and families, and adjust your teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
Customize lesson plans and teaching methods to accommodate various learning abilities.
Continuously assess student progress and modify teaching strategies as necessary.
Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
Maintain regular communication with parents and school staff to track student progress and success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Masters degree in Special Education.
Current North Carolina Special Education Teaching License.
Prior experience in a special education role is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
