Job Description
Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with a reputable school district in the Riverdale, IL area, is currently seeking a dedicated General Education Teacher for a full-time position in a special education setting for the remainder of the 24/25 School year.
Requirements:
ย Valid state licensure and certification in General Education Teaching
ย Compliance with all state and local regulations
ย At least one year of teaching experience, preferably in a special education setting
Responsibilities:
ย Plan and deliver engaging instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities
ย Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the IEP team
ย Differentiate instruction to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth
ย Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
ย Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create a positive learning environment
