Job Description:
VocoVision is recruiting a Special Education Educator to provide online instructional services to K-12 students in Maryland. This independent contractor role for the 2024-2025 school year offers the opportunity to deliver impactful education from a remote setting.
Responsibilities:
Ā Create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) through engaging virtual lessons.
Ā Partner with general education teachers to modify curriculum and support inclusive practices.
Ā Utilize data-driven approaches to assess student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
Position Details:
Ā Contract Type: Independent Contractor
Ā Duration: Immediate start through May 2025
Ā Caseload: K-12 students with varying exceptionalities
Qualifications:
Ā Certified Special Education Teacher in Maryland
Ā Two or more years of experience in special education, with a preference for virtual teaching experience
Ā Competence in using virtual learning environments and assistive technologies
