Job Description
Title: Consumer Goods Retail Sector - Subject Matter Resource
Location: Remote/WFH (Part-time 4-6 hours a week with potential for up to 8-16 per week as needed)
Duration: 04 months+ Contract
We currently have a contract opportunity for a Consumer Goods Retail Sector SMR to lend specific subject matter knowledge around vendor negotiations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ā Participate in vendor negotiations with large CPG brands
Ā Participate in the business development cycle
Ā Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the client
Ā Collaborate with the client team to ensure project goals are met
Ā Potentially travel up to once per month for in-person meetings.
Qualifications:
Ā 10+ relevant years of experience in the Retail and Consumer Goods sector
Ā Prior vendor negotiation experience working at either a big box retailer, grocer, or quick serve company required
Ā Strongly preferred to have previously held roles as either a Buyer, Merchant, or Category Manager
Ā Ability to work 4-6 hours per week, with potential for up to 8-16 hours per week, as needed
