VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual School Social Worker to provide support to students in need of social-emotional assistance through our teletherapy platform. This remote position allows you to make a meaningful impact to students in Michigan while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.
Key Responsibilities...
Β Provide virtual counseling and support to students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
Β Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community resources to address student concerns
Β Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on student assessments
Β Assist with crisis intervention and provide referrals to appropriate services as needed
Β Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing comprehensive support plans for students
Β Maintain detailed records of sessions, progress, and reports
Job Details:
Β Contract: 1099 independent contractor (self-employed)
Β Hours: Flexible schedule, aligned with school hours and student needs
Β Location: Fully remote, work from home
Β Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and qualifications
Qualifications:
Β MasterΒs degree in Social Work (MSW)
Β Active state licensure as a School Social Worker
Β Experience working in school settings, with knowledge of IEPs and 504 plans
Β Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling techniques (preferred but not required)
Β Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
Β Reliable internet connection and video conferencing setup
