Harbour and Warehouse Coordinator
Our client is seeking a Harbour and Warehouse Coordinator for wind work in the United States.
Responsibilities of the Harbour and Warehouse Coordinator:
ย Assist the project HSE department regarding harbor site specific issues.
ย Support the Offshore Site team.
ย Management of safety equipment; offshore PPE kits, keeping record of inventory/certification, monitoring service life of PPE.
ย Assist with lifting operations from the quayside.
ย Manage forklift operations onshore and in-warehouse, and organise availability of mobile cranes when needed.
ย Conduct site stock management ย consumables for the building.
ย Manage fuel management and site vehicles management.
ย Complete building, facility, and site boundary safety checks.
ย Monitor and record site utilities.
ย Site office delivery management.
ย Liaise with port authorities, customs, site security company, and local site contractors as required.
ย Data input of all PPE that requires certification.
ย Keep a quarantined area for damaged tools and PPE.
ย Supporting the construction management with ad hoc tasks.
ย Liaise with port waste management contractors.
ย Complete duty outside of normal working hours.
Requirements:
ย 2 yearsย experience in a similar position.
ย Experience in using or driving a fork truck.
ย Valid Twic card.
ย Able and willing to work independently.
ย Organised and meticulous individual.
ย Non-expired and non-suspended driving license.
