What you'll do...
ย Completes a daily review of assigned tasks and ensures completion within the designated turnaround times and compliant with company's policy and procedures.
ย Reviews all requests related to missing payments and/or misapplied payments prior to submitting to the cashiering team for appropriate reversal and reallocation of funds in question.
ย Reviews all payment refund related requests prior to submitting to the cashiering team for reversal and disbursement of funds.
ย Reviews all late fee waiver requests prior to submitting to the cashiering team for removal of the assessed fees.
ย Processes ACH (Auto Pay) enrollment, activation, changes, and cancelation requests.
ย Collaborates daily with multiple internal departments to resolve servicing issues pertaining to any type of financial transactions on a loan.
ย Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
What You'll Need
ย Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
ย Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently.
ย Knowledge of relevant industry-specific software packages preferred.
ย Analytical, detail oriented.
ย Ability to interact with senior management.
ย Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the department's credibility, operations, and services.
ย Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on short-term basis.
ย Strong math skills. Balance and check results for accuracy.
ย Ability to compose letters.
ย Ability to express or change ideas by means of the spoken word, communicating orally with others accurately, audibly, and quickly.
ย Ability to understand opposing points of view on highly complex issues and to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints.
ย High school diploma or GED required. College education preferred but not required.
ย Minimum of two (2) years related mortgage banking, and/or financial experience preferred.
