Position Summary:
American Retirement Plan Services, (ARPS), a Strongpoint Partner, is seeking a skilled is seeking a 401k Plan Administrator, motivated and detail-oriented professional to independently manage a portfolio of 50β75 retirement plans.
- PLEASE NOTE: This is a fully remote position and can be performed from anywhere within the United States; however, due to the primary locations of our client teams, preference will be given to those in the Central and Eastern time zones.Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage and administer 50β75 retirement plans
- Perform compliance testing (ADP/ACP, coverage, nondiscrimination, etc.)
- Prepare annual valuations
- Complete and file Form 5500s
- Calculate employer contributions
- Perform cross-testing and allocation calculations
- Review and process participant distributions and loans
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ERISA rules and regulations
- Review plan documents and ensure operational compliance
- Communicate effectively with clients, advisors, and internal team members
- Qualifications
- Experience administering defined contribution retirement plans
- Experience as a Combo Cash Balance / Defined Contribution (CB/DC) Administrator is a plus, but not required
- Strong understanding of ERISA rules and retirement plan compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Experience with Ft. William Documents and Compliance Software is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
