Job Description
The 3P Marketplace Manager is responsible for day-to-day execution and performance of third-party marketplaces across Amazon, Walmart, Target and other platforms.
This role focuses on driving revenue growth, improving marketplace efficiency, and maintaining strong account health through hands-on management of listings, inventory, advertising, and performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Execution
Manage daily operations across Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, and Target Plus
Execute and manage marketplace strategies and promotions aligned with company revenue goals
Maintain account health, policy compliance, and platform communication
Manage product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional calendars
Revenue & Performance
Support revenue forecasting and performance tracking by marketplace
Monitor pricing, promotions, and fees to balance growth and margin
Identify opportunities to improve conversion rate, traffic, and average order value
Escalate risks and performance gaps with clear recommendations
Advertising Management
Execute and optimize marketplace advertising including Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect
Monitor ROAS, TACoS, and spend pacing against budget
Coordinate ad strategy with inventory levels and promotions
Test new ad formats, keywords, and bidding strategies
Listings & Merchandising
Manage product listing accuracy, content quality, and compliance
Optimize PDPs including titles, bullets, imagery, A+ content, and video
Request image and video assets as needed
Conduct keyword and competitor analysis to improve discoverability and conversion
Support review generation and customer feedback management
Inventory & Operations
Monitor inventory levels, in-stock rate, and replenishment needs
Coordinate with internal fulfillment partners to avoid stockouts or overages
Support FBA, WFS, and third-party fulfillment workflows
Reporting & Collaboration
Maintain weekly and monthly marketplace performance reports
Track KPIs and surface insights, trends, and risks
Collaborate with Creative, Paid Media, Operations, and Customer Support teams

+8–15% marketplace revenue growth vs prior 90-day baseline
ROAS +15–20%
≥95% in-stock rate with 25–40% fewer stockout days on top SKUs
+5–10% conversion rate lift on optimized PDPs
Zero critical account health violations with stable Buy Box performance
Qualifications
3–5 years experience managing third-party marketplaces, with Amazon 3P required
Hands-on experience with marketplace advertising platforms
Strong operational knowledge of listings, inventory, and account health
Analytical mindset with experience using Seller Central and marketplace reporting tools
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Experience
Experience with Walmart Marketplace and/or Target Plus
Experience in furniture, home, or physical product categories=
Familiarity with third-party marketplace tools and automation platforms
Experience working in fast-paced, performance-driven environments
