They are seeking a Conference & Events Assistant to support the planning and execution of educational and invitational conferences, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities Researching venues, dรฉcor, gifts, restaurants, activities, and entertainers Provide ongoing support to the conference and events team by assisting with daily tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring effective communication Coordinating and supporting all administrative aspects of conferences and events, including generating and analyzing reports, maintaining accurate historical data and records, and ensuring information is organized, up-to-date, and accessible to support planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement Organizing internal meetings, both pre- and post-conference, coordinating weekly huddles, and preparing meeting minutes Keeping the production room and storage area organized and stocked, maintaining product inventory Handling shipping and receiving conference materials and supplies, serving as the team liaison with office services Skills Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects while prioritizing team support Strong follow-up and time management skills Ability to remain calm and stay focused under pressure Enthusiastic, energetic, and professional demeanor Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required Knowledge of Cvent and Salesforce is a plus Degree in hospitality or experience within the events industry preferred Benefits Generous bonus and 401(k) programs Tuition reimbursement Flexible work schedules Incredible health care benefits Company Overview Commonwealth Financial Network is an independent broker and dealer supporting financial advisors.
