Sans is on a mission to build the next great consumer hardware brand, focusing on products that help people live healthier lives. The Growth Copywriter will be responsible for crafting and optimizing copy across various customer touchpoints to enhance engagement and conversion. Responsibilities Write and optimize lifecycle copy across email and SMS channels to drive Revenue, including welcome flows, Abandonment flows, revenue focused email campaigns Develop A/B test variations for subject lines, CTAs, and body copy to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion across lifecycle programs Produce direct mail copy that cuts through, communicates value quickly, and drives response - including mailers, inserts, and promotional pieces Craft compelling web copy for site pages (PDP, PLP, etc.) and landing pages that aligns with brand voice, supports SEO goals, and drives measurable conversion outcomes Partner with the growth and design teams to write landing page copy based on performance data, user insights, and ongoing testing Maintain a deep understanding of the brand's tone, positioning, and audience to ensure consistency and quality across all copy touchpoints Translate performance data and creative insights into new copy hypotheses and content ideas that inform the broader growth strategy Assist in managing copy workflows within project management tools to ensure timely delivery and clear feedback loops Review and provide feedback on copy across the creative team to uphold brand standards and messaging clarity Skills Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience in copywriting, marketing, communications, or a related field 1–3+ years of copywriting experience across multiple channels, including email/SMS, web, and long-form content Demonstrated experience writing lifecycle copy — welcome flows, promotional campaigns, re-engagement sequences, and transactional messaging Familiarity with SEO best practices and how copy supports organic search performance Exposure to email marketing platforms (Klaviyo specifically) and basic performance metrics Exceptional writing instincts — a strong command of voice, tone, and messaging across very different formats and audiences Analytical mindset — able to interpret copy performance data and translate it into actionable hypotheses and improvements Scrappy and self-directed — takes ownership of work, moves projects forward independently, and thrives without a heavy brief Strong collaboration skills — able to work cross-functionally with growth, retention, and brand teams while managing multiple workstreams Detail-oriented and organized — able to manage deadlines and maintain copy quality across a high volume of projects Curious and growth-minded — eager to test new formats, learn new channels, and develop their craft in a fast-paced environment Experience with scriptwriting for video or brand content is a plus Startup, DTC, or e-commerce copywriting experience or strong interest is a plus Experience writing for direct mail, landing pages, and organic social is a plus Benefits Fully paid medical, dental, and vision Opportunity to contribute to 401k Unlimited PTO plus 11+ paid holidays Free Sans product!
